Our Story

This Victorian, Queen Anne style home was built in 1908 by Charles Shorey. It was nearly declared condemned in 1987 and over three-decades this house has been renovated and rebuilt showcasing its original integrity. The Shorey House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In 2019, our property hosted two outdoor summer weddings inspiring our vision to be the first historic outdoor venue in downtown Hillsboro. We are very excited to offer this property as an outdoor venue to our community to celebrate and make lasting memories.
