The historic Shorey House is Hillsboro’s premier outdoor wedding venue offering 10,000 square feet of space with both a garden and large open woodland like area. This intimate space is perfect for weddings, and in particular micro weddings, anniversaries, celebrations, commercial shoots, and other special occasions. We can’t wait to welcome you to our historic Hillsboro home.

About the Venue

The historic Victorian, Queen Anne style home was built in 1908 by Charles Shorey. This outdoor venue provides an idyllic backdrop for celebrations, weddings, anniversaries, and other special events. There are two spaces both with beautiful garden blooms, Hydrangeas and Rhododendrons and much more. In addition, there is a spacious woodland like area nestled in the back of property that provide breathtaking backdrop for your event and create a picturesque scene for photos.

In 2019, our property hosted two outdoor summer weddings inspiring our vision to be the first historic outdoor venue in downtown Hillsboro. Read about our story with more details and wedding photos.

As a downtown venue, we have secured ample parking spaces. We handle furniture set up and clean up, so you and your family do not have to work on your special day.
